OF USE
It is important, for a successful
genealogical search in Ireland, that as much information as is known on the ancestor and his/her family is given.
Any or all of the following details will help:-
Name .............

surname and personal names of ancestor and known relatives;
|
Address .........
|
county, town, parish, townland or street in Ireland;
|
Dates.............
|
of birth, marriage, death (or approx.);
|
Occupation ....
|
the normal trade, profession etc.;
|
Religion .........
|
the religion of ancestor. This is important
especially for locating church records;
|
Emigrants.......
|
dates, reason for emigration and place or places emigrated to.
It can help by including the names
etc.of other family members who emigrated.
